Mein Kampf is the autobiography and articulated worldview of one of the most consequential men in history.  It is also one of the most maligned and least understood texts of the 20th century.  There have been so many obfuscations, deceptions, and outright falsehoods circulated about this work, that one scarcely knows where to begin.

Written in the mid-1920s when Hitler was still a relative unknown, this book has never had an adequate English translation.  With minor exception, all British or American publishers were inherently biased against the author and his ideas.  They had no real interest in producing a clear and accurate translation; in fact, just the opposite—they were anxious to portray the ideas as jumbled, incoherent, and even insane.  The reality is very different than this.  Hitler offers a clear and coherent account of history and his own worldview. His ideas resonate to the present day.

The work is presented here complete, unedited, and for the first time ever, in dual German-English translation.  This is useful for both scholars and laymen alike.  It allows the reader to check the veracity and completeness of the translation, and it encourages him to examine the subtleties associated with the German language.

Mein Kampf is one man’s assessment of history and vision for the future. It is blunt; it is harsh; it is unapologetic. It does not comply with contemporary standards of politeness, objectivity, and political correctness. It sounds offensive to sensitive modern ears. But the book is undeniably important. It is more consequential than perhaps any other political work in history. It deserves to be read, in a clear and unbiased translation. And each reader will then be free to determine its ultimate value and meaning for themselves.

For all the international window-shoppers,what are you waiting for? My books arrived in E Europe,at the best delivery price of just 10$(and that's per order-regardless of the number of books).I guarantee that you won't find a better shipping price,by far.

First,to break some ice, would like to describe physically the books,a thing that i rarely see,and i find quite valuable.

The books are 23 cm in height(9.05 in) and 15.4 cm in width(6.06 in). They are quite hefty in weight too.

The cover has some rubberized texture, making it easy to hold, and giving an interesting feel, love the scheme color too, similar to MK Volksausgabe(Popular edition).

The paper is nice, quite thick and acid free(doesn't yellow),the font is nice, not too big or small.

All in all,it is a good form of paperback book.

How is it,how it reads? And why this dual german-english version?

In the introductory pages it is clear that Mr. Dalton is one of "our guys",and he explains how the other translations were either amateurish,or done by inimical "actors".

    Example from Manheim.

At the start of the book,Hitler makes a dedication to the fallen comrades at Beer Hall Putsch, calling them "Blutzeugen".

Manheim translates it to "Blood witnesses"-which is the literal, machine like, translation from german.

In fact,"Blutzeugen"was a term that NSDAP used for martyrs, but without an explanation,it will sound weird.

In the Dalton translation, they are called just" martyrs for our cause"-much better, isn't it?

In fact,Manheim will give you headaches, there will be things you will not understand.

I posted two more examples in pictures, first Manheim with his weird "Dame Care" and then Dalton.

Which is more intelligible to you?

Not only Dalton makes the text to flow, but also provides copious footnotes which elucidates any mystery.

For example, spread over a few pages are footnotes detailing Protocols of Zion,so you can understand the globalist hydra that Adolf was up against.

At the end of the book there is the 25 point plan by NSDAP,and also a very useful index.

And if you don't trust the translation, guess what, every left page is in original german,so you can corroborate instantly. And who knows, maybe learn some german along the way...

    In conclusion,they are a small treasure,in print!

    Beautifully compiled edition

As someone who owns a copy of the Ford translation, I can say that this edition of Mein Kampf has impressed me in several ways.

As I've been studying German, any book that allows me to directly cross-reference English with German without having to switch between a separate book, an English-German dictionary, or an online translator is incredibly useful. I'm also able to independently verify the accuracy of Hitler's own words in real time.

One thing that other editions lack that has been impressive about this edition is the index & table of contents. Every subject is much easier to research, & the ability to navigate the different chapters by heading & subheading makes it incredibly easy to use the book as a research reference.

Lastly, the introduction to the book, written by Dalton, summarizes Hitler's life & beliefs in such a concise, National Socialist-centric way as to quickly help any reader apprehend the true intent & meaning behind Hitler's actions & worldview (weltanschauung).

I highly recommend this and the accompanying second volume to anyone, and they both have quickly become some of my most prized books.

Shipping was very fast as well.

    Thank you Dr. Dalton.
